CCNP ENARSI 300-401

All Section: Please Read

First is Layer 3 Technologies, which forms the core of ENARSI and focuses on advanced routing concepts. In this section, students learn advanced OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 configurations, including network types, LSA types, route summarization, filtering, and optimization. It covers EIGRP advanced features such as named mode configuration, stub routing, summarization, and authentication. BGP fundamentals and advanced concepts are included, such as path attributes, route selection process, eBGP vs iBGP, route reflectors, and route filtering. Redistribution between routing protocols, route maps, policy-based routing (PBR), and route manipulation techniques are also major topics.

Second is VPN Technologies, which focuses on secure connectivity across networks. Students learn about DMVPN concepts including Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 operations. It covers site-to-site IPsec VPN, GRE tunnels, and FlexVPN fundamentals. Concepts like tunnel protection, NHRP, and secure transport mechanisms are also included.

Third is Infrastructure Security, which strengthens routing environments. This section covers control plane security, routing protocol authentication, secure SNMP, device access control, infrastructure ACLs, and first hop security mechanisms. Students also learn about Cisco TrustSec concepts and network segmentation basics.

Fourth is Infrastructure Services, which supports enterprise routing environments. Topics include DHCP advanced features, DNS services, NTP, SNMPv3, Syslog configuration, IP SLA for performance monitoring, object tracking, and advanced NAT configurations including static, dynamic, and PAT. High availability concepts such as HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP are also covered in depth.
